Volve ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

When you use Volve, we collect the following information:

Account data: email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
Profile data: your name and target income, which you provide during onboarding
Financial data: income sources, expenses, savings, assets, goals, and daily log entries that you manually enter into the app

We do not collect payment information, bank account details, or any data from external financial institutions. All financial data in Volve is entered manually by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Volve app and its features
To display your financial overview, identity, and progress
To authenticate your account and keep it secure
To improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each user's data is isolated using row-level security — only you can access your own data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following cases:

With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., Supabase for database hosting)
If required by law or legal process

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data

7. Children's Privacy

Volve is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
